To me it sounds as if you would need a reliable source for income first. If you want to stick with the game, figure out how to earn ISK before you try to find ways to blow it. Blowing is much much easier! If you want to PvP from the very beginn...

I afk mine in high sec while at work. Set up a jet can and take a really cheap ship (venture). Every 20 minutes or so you just empty the hold and set up new. Rats are taken care of by the hobs and gankers usually don't attack ships that are worth...
